e-Governance Application of 4 DC Offices

The mandate and scope of the operation of the DC Offices require constant interaction and information exchange among Cabinet Division, Ministry of Land, Circle, UNO Offices as well as other governmental institutions such as Judicial Service, Police Service and other security agencies. It was needed to interconnect DC Offices with all its associated offices to facilitate an electronic administrative network through a network of communication and information through which specified and authorized people can freely interact.

Project Details

The mandate and scope of the operation of the DC Offices require constant interaction and information exchange among Cabinet Division, Ministry of Land, Circle, UNO Offices as well as other governmental institutions such as Judicial Service, Police Service and other security agencies. It was needed to interconnect DC Offices with all its associated offices to facilitate an electronic administrative network through a network of communication and information through which specified and authorized people can freely interact.

The objective of the project is to automate the process of the DC Offices and its associated Circle and UNO Offices to provide a reliable means by which information/data is managed to achieve the best possible results in the shortest possible time with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of the district administration. Integrated database software was developed to automate the resource planning with day to day activities in the Dhaka, Jamalpur. Sherpur and Comilla DC Offices and their associated Circle and UNO Offices, which includes automate the administrative, general, revenue, land acquisition, education & development related activities, day to day activities of different sections/units like Relief Section-Local Government Section-Complaint & Information Section-all Development Sections-Establishment Sections Arms & Ammunition Section-Treasury Section- General Section- Parliament & Parliamentary Standing Committee- Library Section-Forms & Stationary Section-Business & Trade Section SA Section-Certificate Section-Arpito (Vested) Property Section- Record Room Section- RM Section- Dolil Undervalue Section-JM Section- Press & Publication Section, Education Section &N Nejarot Section etc. Website of the concerned DC Offices was also a part of the project.
