eRajshahi, the centralized intelligent component, will streamline the exchange of information between citizens and the government agencies involved. eRajshahi, the single window internet application, will provide global visibility and access to the central database populated from the information exchanged between the stakeholders. eRajshahi Portal, the e-governance portal for the citizens community, will provide the interface for the stakeholders to interact with eRajshahi and also provide a platform for publishing general information to the peoples.

The digital town creates a unique opportunity to lead economic and social development in Bangladesh, but it may also represent a way to increase the gap that still separates our country from others more developed ones.
