The Integrated Centralized Billing System (ICBS) has been successfully implemented in 161 PBS offices under 20 Palli Bidyut Samities. The system manages consumer services, billing, collection, and accounting activities for over 9.5 million consumers.
Consumers can apply online for new electricity connections and pay bills through multiple channels, including banks, mobile financial services, and PBS cash counters. The system is currently accessed by over 7,000 users via VPN from the BREB central data center.
The software has been implemented by the BREB implementation team in collaboration with Team TechnoVista, who provided comprehensive training and continuous operational support to all categories of users across the 161 PBS offices under 20 Palli Bidyut Samities.
To date, ICBS has processed over 200,000 new electricity connections and resolved more than 110,000 consumer complaints and service requests. Implementation activities for 500+ additional offices under 60 PBSs are currently ongoing.
