Successfully completion training on IPMS of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC)

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Bangladesh, supported by Asian Development Bank (ADB), intends to further improve its business processes for handling the corruption complaints, enquiries, investigations and prosecution of cases by using appropriate information technologies and software-based automation system.

We have provided two types of training on IPMS. Operational user training and System Administrator user training. Four days day-long training were provided to 642 operational users, and 10 days day-long training has been provided to 09 system administrator users. A total of 642 trainees comprising ACC Director level officials to Data Entry/Control Operator of HQ, Divisional and District offices participated in the training.

The entire training used the IPMS after it was installed at ACC. In the training sessions, trainers delivered project overview in power point presentation, module-wise business understanding in power point presentation, live module software demonstration with related reports, question and answer etc. At the end, practice sessions were conducted to improve the learning outcomes of the trainees.

Before the training, TechnoVista Ltd. conducted month-long workshops in its office conference room for preparing its trainers. A team comprising principal software engineer, software engineer, analyst and domain expert were developed for IPMS training.

TechnoVista Ltd. prepared a training plan and course outline in consultation with ACC. ADB approved the training plan. In addition to the Project Director’s office, TechnoVista Ltd. worked closely with the training wing of ACC to finalize the training programs. ACC HQs and its Divisional offices provided batch-wise trainee list as per plan. Nine different venues such as BIAM (Dhaka), NAPD (Dhaka), BCC (Barishal, Sylhet and Chittagong), RPATC (Rajshahi and Khulna), BLC (Rangpur), and ACC Computer lab at ACC Headquarters were used to conduct training for 651 users in 22 batches in 32 days.
