TechnoVista Limited is proud to announce the awarding of a significant contract under the Program on Agricultural and Rural Transformation for Nutrition, Entrepreneurship, and Resilience (PARTNER) initiative in Bangladesh with the World Bank development partner. The project, titled “Development of Policy/Regulatory Framework, Strategic Action Plan, Protocol, and Operationalization of a Quality Information System (QIS)”, is aimed at modernizing and digitizing Bangladesh’s agricultural data collection, verification and analysis for national level decision making ecosystem for Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE).
Under this assignment, TechnoVista has developed a comprehensive Quality Information System (QIS) comprising advanced data collection, management, analysis, and dissemination modules, alongside a sustainable software platform and mobile applications. The scope includes reviewing existing policies, stakeholder consultations, formulating data governance frameworks, and providing capacity-building training for over 1,000 agricultural personnel across all administrative levels.
Quality Information System (QIS), a web and mobile-based automation system, empowers the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) to improve its real-time data collection processes with greater accuracy, enhanced processing, verification, and compilation, secure storage, and efficient information transmission from the grassroots level throughout rural Bangladesh. This QIS acts as the backbone for robust monitoring, thorough evaluation, and adaptive management, ultimately contributing to the efficient and effective achievement of national objectives.
