The web-based Port automation system is an initiative by Mongla port authority intended to provide a single window system to securely exchange the information electronically with their stakeholders involved in the port chain including the shipping agent, C&F agent, Handling contractor, Stevedore, Importer, customs department etc.
We have automated following departments/sections of MPA like Harbour Department, Ship & Yard Section, Car Yard Section, Unstuffing Section, Indent Section, Equipment Section, Stuffing Section, Berthing Section, Container Bill Section, Car Bill Section, Shipping Bill Section, Weighment Section, Income Section, Conservancy Section, Mechanical & Electrical Department, Marine Department, Administration Department and Finance & Accounts Department etc.
Between January 2019 and March 2023, over 75,000 incoming container bills and more than 45,000 outgoing container bills have been assessed, along with 95,000 car bills, using automation software.
